yin yoga refers to a style of practice focuses on long-held postures, elongating and strengthening the connective tissues, like ligaments, joints, bones and fascia. it is a relaxing, calming and restoring practice. the target of yin yoga are the hips, pelvis and lower spine. it releases blockages of the meridians throughout our bodies. to help yourself getting in a relaxing position we use blocks (if you don’t have big books are ok too) pillows, bolster, blankets. the classes are all about letting go of the tensions we gain in our day to day schedule.
